Communicating why Science matters and establishing two-way dialogues with the wider public is something that members of the Epigenetic Memory group enjoy and believe to be of value.
The team have worked with partners at Central St Martins, UoAL, to develop projects such as Suffrage Science, which celebrates and encourages women in science (https://www.suffragescience.org/).
Together with a small and dedicated editorial team, and supported by the MRC LMS, they helped to develop ‘A Picture of Health’, a collection of more than 100 images and perspectives on what the phrase means and how views were reshaped by the pandemic (https://issuu.com/biochemistryoxford/docs/final_high_res_a_picture_of_health?fr=sNDAxODY4NzcxOTM).
